Appendix C KPI Definitions to Agree

KPI Definition question
Technical availability What equipment boundary, time basis, exclusions and partial capability rules apply?
Operational availability Was the asset operationally ready, including people, communications and supporting systems?
Bid availability What capability was offered to the market and why did it differ from physical capability?
Dispatch conformance What tolerance, persistence and event exclusions apply?
Lost energy What baseline would have occurred without the event, and how is uncertainty represented?
Lost revenue Which price, MLF, contract, certificate and settlement assumptions apply?
Forecast accuracy Which horizon, aggregation, metric and operating states are included?
Recurrence When are events considered the same failure mode or unresolved corrective action?

Appendix D Proposal Customisation Checklist

Replace generic client references with the legal entity and nominated business unit.

Select one asset and confirm the registered participant and operating counterparties.

Insert the specific problem statement from discovery.

Confirm the sample period, data sources and data security requirements.

Choose only the workstreams required for the initial decision.

Insert delivery dates, fee, payment terms, liability settings and insurance information.

Have confidentiality, intellectual property and regulatory wording reviewed appropriately.

Nominate acceptance criteria and authorised signatories.

Appendix E Future Book Development

This handbook should evolve as individual services become real products. Each service chapter should eventually include a problem statement, required data, method, controls, sample deliverable, commercial model, competence requirements, case study and lessons learned. New material should be added only after it can be explained, demonstrated and delivered consistently.

Next chapter to develop Suggested practical case
Availability reconciliation Rebuild an owner and OEM reconciliation using a representative wind farm event set
Generator compliance tracker Create an off-target event workflow from detection through investigation and recurrence
Maintenance optimisation Select a heavy-component wind-farm maintenance window under wind and price uncertainty
BESS optimisation Schedule energy and FCAS with SOC between 3 percent and 97 percent and degradation constraints
Hybrid portfolio optimisation Coordinate wind, solar and BESS under export, PPA and market constraints
Contractual curtailment Evaluate an offtaker request to reduce output across upcoming dispatch intervals

Document Use

Part One may be customised for prospective clients after discovery with the owner and relevant O and M representatives. Part Two is an internal development roadmap. Neither part authorises operational control, replaces the O and M contractor, or replaces legal, regulatory, financial, engineering-certification or registered participant advice.
